A Program in Miracles is a set of self-study products published by the Basis for Internal Peace. The book's content is metaphysical, and describes forgiveness as placed on daily life. Curiously, nowhere does the guide have an writer (and it is therefore shown with no author's name by the U.S. Library of Congress). But, the writing was published by Helen Schucman (deceased) and William Thetford; Schucman has connected that the book's material is dependant on communications to her from an "internal voice" she said was Jesus. The original edition of the book was published in 1976, with a modified edition published in 1996. The main content is a training information, and students workbook. Since the very first release, the guide has distributed several million copies, with translations into nearly two-dozen languages.
